An independently owned family run business

In 1972 GR Williams Nurseries was sold and purchased by the current owners. For the first few years the business continued to be administered from the small corrugated roof building in front of the bungalow, and the retail shop was contained in a 500 sq.ft. greenhouse opposite.

A decision was made in 1976 to rename the business to Codsall & Wergs Garden Centre Limited.

Over the years there have been many changes to the garden centre, with the introduction of Licensees for the specialised products, as well as continuing redevelopment of the site.

At the present time a major rebuilding programme is in progress, new shrub beds have been laid, the car parking facilities have been improved and extended, the old cafe has been moved to a purpose built air conditioned building, these are just a few examples of the recent improvements.

The Garden Centre has played a significant part over the years in helping the local community and will continue to do so.

The Directors, Staff and Licensees of the Garden Centre express their good wishes to all past customers, and extend a warm welcome to all who visit in the future.
